In 1904, China’s first flat glass factory was established in Boshan, Zibo, Shandong, which is the birthplace of Jinjing.

In 1976, we established a pattern glass production line and a vertical drawn flat glass line in Zibo.

In 1994, we built two pattern glass production lines in Qingdao.

In 1994, our first glass processing base was established in Zibo, Shandong.

In 1995, we built the first float glass production line in Zibo.

In 2002, we were listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange and became one of China’s first listed glass manufacturers (Stock Code: 600586).

In 2005, we introduced the ultra clear glass technology from PPG and produced China’s first ultra clear glass.

In 2009, we developed solar ultra clear glass and established an offline low-E coated glass line in Zibo.

In 2010, we began producing raw materials with a new soda ash line and developed online low-E coated glass.

In 2013, we introduced PPG’s triple-silver low-E coated glass technology, becoming China’s first stable, large-scale producer of bendable triple-silver offline low-E coated glass.

In 2016, we established an automotive glass production base in Zibo.

In 2018, we invested RMB 1 billion to build a float glass production base in Penang, Malaysia.

In 2019, we developed super-clarity ultra clear glass. In 2020, we started to produce super-transmittance anti-reflective glass. And in 2021, we established our second offline low-E coated glass production line in Tengzhou.

In 2023, we launched the second float glass production line at our Malaysian plant.
