Our R&D center boasts over 6,000 sqm of research lab space, with various coating equipment and performance analysis tools. We collaborate with renowned domestic universities to create a strong industry-academia platform.

To enhance new material development, we have established a comprehensive R&D investment accounting system with an auxiliary account for R&D expenses. We have established high-level R&D bases in China, for example, the Shandong Glass and Glass Processing Engineering Technology Research Center.

Leveraging our strengths in float glass and low-E coated glass, our R&D center focuses on downstream processing businesses. Our key products include ultra clear glass, high-performance temperable double-silver and triple-silver low-E coated glass, ultra-large ultra clear low-E coated glass, high-performance low-E glass for passive house and cold chains, online low-E coated glass, online TCO photovoltaic solar glass, and super anti-reflective glass.

From June 2019 to July 2020, we developed three new products: “Super-clarity Glass”, “Super-transmittance Glass”, and “Jinjing Blue Glass”, greatly enriching our glass products and enhancing our competitiveness. “Super-clarity Glass” offers exceptional purity and natural color, providing stunning visual effects and high safety. “Super-transmittance Glass”, with over 98% light transmittance and less than 1% reflectance, minimizes reflection interference, delivering a true-to-life visual experience. “Jinjing Blue Glass”, with its elegant, clean, and fresh blue hue, exudes a refined and intelligent aesthetic.

We aim to further strengthen our R&D efforts by focusing on solar energy products, including photovoltaic/solar thermal power generation products and building-integrated photovoltaic products. We will continue to develop energy-efficient building products based on double/triple-silver low-E coated glass. Additionally, we plan to enhance collaboration with overseas universities, research institutes, and other scientific organizations to address current technical challenges, stabilize product quality, improve yield, and reduce production costs.
